Buying a didgeridoo: Terms and conditions

When buying a didgeridoo from this website, you agree with the following terms and conditions:

We make sure of the quality and good condition of the didgeridoos sold.

Termitadidjes didgeridoos are mostly finished with resin outside and inside to guarantee durability and good protection against humidity and eventual cracks. It's still a wooden instrument and exposing it to great temperature variations or extreme conditions can result in damage. Never leave an instrument in a car exposed to the sun for a long period. Always make sure your instruments are well dried out after playing before putting them in a didgeridoo bag.

Try to maintain and keep your didgeridoos in stable humidity and temperature.

When acquiring a new traditional instrument, always be very cautious the first weeks, as the instrument needs to get used to its new environmental conditions and probably hasn't been played very often in the previous weeks or months; also remember that traditional instruments are made from alive trees that take some time to dry out after the crafting process; that means that you should not overplay your new instrument when it arrives... give it 5 to 10 minutes maximum per day for a week, then slowly go up playing it more and more often during the following weeks until the wood seems stable enough to play long sessions. Remember to properly store it after playing to evacuate humidity.

Some traditional instruments  might have small damages or even little repairs done by the maker, which is considered part of the traditional crafting process, and not a defect. Cracks are not always avoidable even by strictly following good care directions with new instruments, and Termitadidjes is not responsible for cracks appearing after reception of the instrument in good condition. We will however provide repairing service (shipping costs paid by the customer if need to send it for repair) or assistance to deal with minor cracks.

Freight costs are paid by the customer. It might not be indicated on the final price. We ship with UPS, GLS, DPD.

Customs (importation duty) laws varies from country to country. Customers may be required to pay customs or importation duty after the purchase and before the delivery of the item. Termitadidjes does not accept responsibility for payment of customs duty.

Didgeridoos are not refundable. If an instrument is not up to your expectations, you can always exchange for another instrument of similar value. Customer pays the costs of shipping for the exchange.
